It is designed to maximise the volume and speed of air intake with a smooth, undisrupted flow. The kit includes the high performance Big Mouth® inverted cone rewashable pod filter, which is easily accessed for cleaning, and a plastic heat shield to stop engine bay heat from entering the Growler® airbox. Also included in the kit as an optional feature is our plastic air dam which attaches to the underneath of the front spoiler to ram even more airflow into the Growler® airbox. Expect power gains, increased low down torque, sharper throttle response and improved fuel economy. Expect also a nice induction growl under heavy acceleration.
